Radon Be Gone provides radon testing and radon mitigation system installation for homeowners in Coon Rapids, MN. Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that seeps up from the soil, and Minnesota homes are especially prone to elevated levels. If your test comes back high — including during a home sale — we design and install a system that vents it safely outside.
We also install and repair drain tile, so Coon Rapids homeowners can deal with radon and a wet basement with one local contractor.
Frequently asked questions
Is radon a problem in Coon Rapids homes?
It can be in any Minnesota home. The Minnesota Department of Health estimates that about two in five Minnesota homes have radon levels that pose a significant health risk, and the only way to know about your Coon Rapids home is to test it.
What radon level requires mitigation?
The EPA and the Minnesota Department of Health recommend mitigating at 4 pCi/L or higher and considering it between 2 and 4 pCi/L.
How quickly can you install a system in Coon Rapids?
A standard radon mitigation system is usually installed in one day. Call (612) 300-0047 and we will schedule an assessment of your Coon Rapids home.
What happens after the system is installed?
Retest the home to confirm radon has dropped below 4 pCi/L. The system's gauge shows the fan is working, and we stand behind our installations if levels come back high.

We had to have a radon mitigation system installed as part of our house selling process. We got a few estimates and Radon Be Gone not only provided the most competitive price, but Cory Anderson was also the most communicative and through with explaining/investigating the possible installation options. He and his technician, Zack, were in constant contact with us to keep us up to speed every step of the way including using their partner electrician. They all got the job done quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend them!!

Mitchell RigdonApr 2026 · GoogleThey came out a couple of years ago and did radon mitigation. We are selling our house now and the required test came back higher than 4. Even though it was a little beyond the 2 year warranty, Cory came out and installed a larger fan and the readings are now less than 4! We are VERY happy with everything about this company and highly recommend them!
